XRAY n. an electromagnetic ray or radiation of very short wavelength produced by the
bombardment of a metal by a stream of electrons.

You may think it’s the thing you have to check if you’ve got a broken bone in your body, but here it
stands for Christ (X) in Rockdale Alliance Youth. XRAY is a group for high schoolers from Years 7-12
and our focus is following the one with the ‘X’ factor – Jesus the ‘author and perfecter of our faith’
(Hebrews 12:2a), and how having a personal relationship with him is the most important thing in the
world.

We run various programs, activities, and games to illustrate truths and teachings from the Bible, how
it is relevant and applicable to young people and afterwards, we break up into smaller groups to
read and learn from the Bible. It’s a chance to have a more personal look at the Bible, to ask
questions and to see how God has revealed himself to us through His Word!
