What is it that’s going to make RICE Rally in 2011 awesome?
Is it the venue – the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney’s stage for
the big ones like P!nk and David Bowie? Perhaps. Is it the buzzing vibe
in the foyer that will be featuring the likes of our very talented line
up of artists: Amelia Jae, Jake Nauta and Ponder? Perhaps. Is it the
stage and the
thumping music that will be pumping from our house band and bringing
down the
walls? Is it our youth creative team who will be singing and dancing
their
hearts out to a crowd going wild? Perhaps.
Yes. All of these things will contribute to RICE Rally’s awesomeness in 2011. BUT, what
makes RICE truly awesome can be narrowed down to two simple things:
Firstly,
God makes RICE Rally awesome. He has a message for each and every
high-schooler who will walk through those doors and and He wants each
and everyone to hear it. It's all about Jesus Christ and what he has
done. And our speaker Sam Chan will be delivering this good news in the energetic way he is known for from previous RICE events.
Secondly, you.
That’s right, you. You make RICE awesome because you will be with us
and this entire night is designed especially for you. By just you being
there, you will be contributing to RICE’s awesomeness.
This year’s
theme is ‘Know, Love, Experience’, three words that are common enough, but take
on a whole new world of meaning when we look at it in the way we will on the
night of August 20.
